Buying Begets Buying

Do you ever notice that the more you buy, the more you need? For example, I recently snagged a pair of Anthropologie's gorgeous Sailor Stripe Pants in blue. The inseam was longer than I anticipated, but I like the look of these pants with a wedge or platform.

Unfortunately, my wedges are limited to hard-edge greys and blacks. More night on the town than day at the beach. So in cruising around for the perfect "sailor pant shoe" I came up with the following lovelies. Enjoy!

I love that these shoes have an enclosed heel. Don't you hate it when your pant leg gets caught under your heel with slingbacks? The braided detail gives this shoe the a little nautical twist when paired with the sailor pant.


Incredibly versatile and not so trendy that you'll want to throw them out next year. Absolutely SCREAMS summer!


Is that a zipper in the back? OK I think I really do need to have these. Forget timeless classics!
