I'm not really one to wear fast and furious trends. I'll usually pick out one or two small pieces to compliment basics I already own. One trend that I am loving right now is the maxi dress. Easy-going and ultra-feminine, the maxi dress is a versatile summer staple.

My perfect basic is a simple piece with an unexpected twist and my search for the perfect maxi dress is no exception. I look for simple dresses in solid colors with a little bit of embellishment.
